MINSERT command

The MINSERT command is used to insert several copies of a selected block in a rectangular array.

Command Access:

Command : MINSERT

Command Prompts:

Enter block name or [?]:
Specify insertion point or [Basepoint/Scale/X/Y/Z/Rotate]:
Enter X scale factor, specify opposite corner, or [Corner/XYZ]:
Enter Y scale factor:
Specify rotation angle<0>:
Enter the number of rows(---):
Enter number of columns (|||):
Enter the distance between rows or specify unit cell (---):
Specify the distance between columns (|||):

Function Description:

Before specifying the position of insertion point, the options scale and rotated angle are default. If the default value is not 1 or 0, it will be very useful when dragging objects. Users could specify distance for Scale option or specify angle for Rotate option. The block inserted by the MINSERT command could not be exploded and the annotation block could not be inserted by the MINSERT command.

Relative Glossary:

Insertion point:
Specify the position of insertion block.

X/Y:
Specify scale factor or X/Y.
Rotation angle:
Specify the insertion block rotation angle and the array angle.
Rows/columns:
Specify the rows and columns number in array.
Distance between rows:
Specify the distance between rows (or unit). Users could specify rows by pointing device or two points, those two points could define the width and height.
Distance between columns:
Specify the distance between columns (or unit).
Opposite corner:
Specify scale factor by insertion point and corner point.
XYZ:
Specify X, Y and Z scale factors.

Basepoint:
Input the block to current drawing temporarily and permit to specify new base point when moving to target position. This will not influence the definition of practical base point of block reference.
Scale:
Specify X, Y, and Z axis scale factors. The Z axis scale factor is absolute value.

X : Specify X scale factor.
Y : Specify Y scale factor.
Z : Specify Z scale factor.
Rotate : Specify the rotation angle of single block and array.

X : Specify the X scale factor.
Y : Specify the Y scale factor.
