DYNMODE system variable


Function Description:

The DYNMODE system variable is used to turn on or off the dynamic input mode.

Type : Integer
Saved in : Registry
Initial value : 3
Range : 0,1,2,3

If specifying a negative value to DYNMODE system variable, it turns off the dynamic input but stores its settings.

System Variable Value:

0 : turn off all dynamic input including dynamic prompts
1 : pointer input on
2 : dimensional input on
3 : both pointer input and dimensional input on

If specified DYNPROMPT to be 1, it displays dynamic prompts when setting DYNMODE to be 1,2, or 3.
If specified DYNMODE to be 2 or 3, it switches to pointer input when inputting comma, angle bracket (>) or selecting multiple grips.
If specified DYNMODE to be 1,2, or 3, it temporarily closes all functions instead of F12.
Users could set dynamic input option in drafting settings dialog box
